Churches:
Most churches produce some form of newsletter, printing these on paper and distributing them to members through volunteers. While this helps foster a good community spirit and should ensure members see a friendly face on a regular basis, especially those unable to attend the church, some can still be missed out.
Using a website to supplement the newsletter ensures that the information is available for everyone, even whilst on holiday. It also allows the families and friends of members to see what's happening, which again can be useful if someone is ill, or to pass on a message via the e-mail. Newsletters, bulletins etc can also be archived for future reference online.
