Compare this to:
- A5 size flyers which can be obtained for about £70 for 1,000. Once printed these cannot be amended.
- Yellow Pages adverts that run for 18 months with no chance of a correction before then if anything is missed or printed incorrectly
- Newspaper adverts typically costing anything from £40 upwards for a column inch that lasts one day. "Display" adverts are generally more expensive.
With the e-mail facility your website includes, customers can contact you at a time that suits them. For free. And if you are not available at that time, you can reply to them by e-mail or by post, for example by sending a brochure, at a time that suits you. Even if it's in the middle of the night.
We’re not saying that your website should replace other forms of advertising. What it can do is to enhance the promotion of your business in a more cost-effective way than you could achieve by increasing expenditure on any other form of advertising.

How you can earn money:
Placing adverts on your website from top brands endorses your site and helps build your reputation. Affiliate programmes pay to place adverts on websites such as you are considering. We can advise on this and help set it up for you.
Refer other customers to us and we’ll reward you when they take out a website from us. Rewards will normally be in the form of credit towards renewal of your own site registration or in cash, depending on the business gained from your referral.
During September and October 2008 we will pay you £20.00 for any customer you refer who takes a website from us with a monthly subscription. (Conditions apply - please ask for written details.)
